Within this documentation, we can explore the steps to relocate a cPanel account from WHM to your server.

Access WHM by logging in.

Navigate to the ‘Transfers’ section.

This functionality grants us the ability to replicate multiple accounts from a remote server to your cPanel & WHM server.

Transfer a cPanel account

1) Input the IP address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the remote server in the ‘Remote Server Address’ text box.

2) Specify the port number within the ‘Remote SSH Port’ text box.

3) Choose whether to authenticate as the root user or utilize a specific username and input the relevant credentials.

4) The security feature permits the selection between employing the Restricted Restore feature and copying reseller privileges.

5) For advanced preferences, you have the option to specify advanced options for the transfer. Click ‘Show’ to reveal the list of available choices.

6) Once you have made your selections, click ‘Fetch Account List’.

7) In this section, you can pick the packages and accounts.

Copying Packages

Choose the packages you want to duplicate within the table beneath the ‘Packages’ heading.

Click ‘Copy’.

Copying Accounts

Select the desired accounts from the table under the ‘Accounts’ heading.

Enter the new username in the ‘User’ text box.

Select the accounts that should be assigned dedicated IP addresses under the ‘Dedicated IP Address’ heading.

Select the accounts that should transfer their home directories under the ‘Copy Home Directory’ heading.

Select the accounts that should retain their reseller privileges under the ‘Copy Reseller Privileges’ heading.

Select the accounts that should migrate their account databases under the ‘Copy Databases’ heading.

Select the accounts that should transfer their bandwidth data under the ‘Copy Bandwidth Data’ heading.

Select accounts for express transfer under the ‘Express transfer’ heading.

If an account is already present on the server, the ‘Overwrite Account’ column will contain a checkbox that enables you to transfer the account and overwrite all existing data.

Click ‘Copy’ to complete the process.

8) Upon clicking ‘Copy’, the Account Transfer interface will appear. Once the transfer is complete, you will be able to see the new account within the ‘List Accounts’ section.

Copying an Account From Another Server

This option is now integrated into the ‘Transfer Tool’ interface. It allows for the duplication of multiple accounts from a remote server to your own server. We have previously discussed this within the ‘Transfer Tool’ section.

Copying an Account From Another Server Using an Account Password

This alternative enables the replication of an account from another server utilizing the account password.

1) Enter the IP address or FQDN in the ‘Server to copy from (IP or FQDN)’ text box.

2) Insert the account’s username in the ‘Username to copy’ text box.

3) Input the password in the ‘User’s password’ text box.

4) If you desire to assign a dedicated IP to the account, select the ‘Give New Account an IP Address’ option.

5) Initiate the transfer by clicking the ‘Copy account’ icon.

This functionality is now part of the Transfer Tool interface. As mentioned earlier, we have addressed this within the ‘Transfer Tool’ section.
